Mierea în faguri are o calitate deosebită, datorată lipsei contactului cu mediul exterior (praf, substanţe chimice, depozitare în condiţii necorespunzătoare etc). Mierea de floarea soarelui conţine lecitină, care stimulează activitatea creierului, atât la copii cât şi la adulţi. Căpăcelele de ceară conţin propolis, venin de albine şi substanţe volatile cu efect benefic asupra gâtului, plămânilor şi aparatului digestiv. După mestecare până la sfărâmiţare, căpăcelul de fagure se poate înghiţi, conţinând vitamina A.
Pentru fagurele de miere se adaugă un cost suplimentar de 5 RON pentru ambalarea într-o cutie rezistentă la șocuri.
